Dunajec Castle is located in the Łapsze Niżne Commune in the Nowy Targ district, Lesser Poland Voivodeship. The picturesque location of the castle, among the Pieniny Spiskie mountains, on the shore of Czorsztyński Lake, makes it one of the most recognizable tourist destinations in the region. Since the 1950s, Dunajec Castle has been under the wing of the Association of Art Historians, which protects and preserves the cultural heritage of the Castle for generations to come.

1. THE CASTLE

The interiors of the upper and middle castle have been adapted for museum purposes, preserving the historical layout and character of the facility.

2. CARRIAGE HOUSE

This exhibition was arranged in 2006, in a contemporary room of the former firewood storage, located near the castle car park. Antique horse-drawn vehicles from 1900-1939 are exhibited here.

3. GRANARY

This wooden facility was erected in the last decade of the 18th century. It was slightly modified and transformed in the 19th century. Currently, it houses a permanent exhibition - the Folk Art of Spiš.

4. THE TICKET OFFICE

Tickets are sold for specific time slots, visiting the Castle is conducted in organized groups with a guide (it is included in the ticket price) or individually.
